Minimum Requirements:

  • A B.Bibl degree, or an NQF Level 7 qualification in Library and Information Studies/Science (including a Bachelor’s degree, Advanced Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, or B.Tech).

  • An Honours or Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in:

    • Generating and analysing e-resources data usage reports.

    • Negotiating and managing licence agreements and contract renewals.

    • Training staff and students in the utilization of library e-resources within a higher education environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the effective management of electronic resources to ensure access and availability.

  • Compile and interpret usage data for resource planning and budgeting.

  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.

  • Support academic staff and students in accessing and using e-resources for research and teaching.
