Does my APS include Life Orientation?
That depends on the institution and qualification. EduCoast displays both views. Auto mode keeps the common APS for threshold checks, checks explicit LO subject requirements separately and flags cases where LO could change the result.
What can I study with each NSC pass category?
A Higher Certificate pass is checked against higher certificate courses. A Diploma pass is checked against diploma and higher certificate courses. A Bachelor pass is checked against bachelor, diploma and higher certificate courses. You must still meet each course's APS and subject rules.
Does a strong match guarantee admission?
No. It means the stored APS and automatically checkable subject rules were met. Capacity, selection tests, portfolios and other conditions may still apply.
