Takealot Digital Marketing Learnership 2026 — Applications Close Today (5 May 2026)A reminder that applications for the Takealot Digital Marketing Learnership close today.

This is a 12-month paid learnership run by Takealot.com in partnership with YES and Services SETA, focused on digital skills development for unemployed youth.


Programme Overview

  • Duration: 12 months (full-time, Monday–Friday)
  • Stipend: R5,500 per month
  • Placement: Various small businesses that sell on Takealot (not Takealot HQ)
  • Work Focus:
    • Product listing and store setup
    • Digital marketing and content creation
    • Customer service support
    • E-commerce operations training
  • Outcome: Workplace experience + certification in digital marketing

Locations
Gauteng placements include:
Johannesburg, Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand, Soweto, Tembisa, Hammanskraal, Germiston, and surrounding areas.

Applicants outside the immediate area must be willing to relocate or have reliable transport.


Minimum Requirements

  • South African citizen with valid ID
  • Under 30 years old
  • Matric completed
  • Less than 6 months work experience
  • Basic computer skills and good English
  • No criminal record
  • Willing to relocate or travel for placement
