The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is offering bursary opportunities for the 2026 academic year in key aviation fields. This is your chance to gain world-class training and be part of South Africa’s aviation future.Available Fields of Study:

• Pilot Training (Helicopter & Fixed Wing)

• Aeronautical Engineering

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

Academic Requirements:

• Pilot Training: Pure Maths Level 5, Physical Science Level 5, English Level 5

• Aeronautical Engineering: Pure Maths Level 6, Physical Science Level 6, English Level 5

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineering: Pure Maths, Physical Science and English – Level 5 or NCV Level 4 (Engineering Studies)

Non-Academic Requirements:

• South African Citizen

• Must be between the ages of 18–35
