FASSET Employed Learner Bursary 2025 & 2026 – Applications Now Open

The FASSET Employed Learner Bursary invites applications for the 2025 and 2026 academic years. This bursary aims to support employed learners pursuing qualifications aligned with the FASSET Sectorial Priority Occupations and Interventions (SPOI) List.Who Should Apply?

• Learners employed by organisations within the FASSET sector

• Students registered at Public Higher Education & Training (HET) institutions or TVET Colleges

• Learners pursuing an NQF Level 06 qualification or higher linked to the FASSET SPOI list

Bursary Details:

• Covers tuition fees and prescribed textbooks only

• Maximum funding of R50,000 per learner, limited to one academic year (2025 or 2026)

• Selection based on first-come, first-served basis, with academic performance considered

Important:
Learners currently benefiting from a FASSET-funded programme during the 2025/2026 financial year are not eligible to apply.

Closing Date:
Applications close at 16:30 on 30 September 2025, or earlier if the bursary budget is fully allocated.
