Boland TVET College invites suitably qualified, passionate, and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Lecturer: Tourism at the Stellenbosch Campus.

Minimum Requirements:

• A recognised three-year qualification in Tourism or related field (REQV13)

• A qualification in Education and Training

• Minimum of 3 years lecturing experience in a relevant programme

• At least 2 years of educational experience in teaching

• Proven experience in blended learning and the use of educational technology

• SACE registration

• Fluent in English (written and verbal communication skills required)

• Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)

• Strong administrative and collaboration skills

• A valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the following subjects (and others if required):

• Tourism N4–N6

• Travel Office Procedure N4–N6

• Tourist Destination N4–N6

• Participate in Workplace-Based Learning (WPBL) and ensure industry exposure related to the programme

Recommendations (Added Advantage):

• Registered Assessor

• Registered Moderator

• Experience in the TVET sector

• Teaching or training experience in an industrial environment

• Multilingualism

Remuneration & Terms:

• Salary: R351,972 per annum

• Plus: 37% in lieu of benefits

• Working Hours: 35 hours per week

• Contract Duration: From appointment date until 31 December 2025
