Sedibeng TVET College Extends Online Applications for 2026

Sedibeng TVET College has announced the extension of its online application period for the 2026 academic year, giving prospective students additional time to apply for engineering programmes across selected campuses.

Extended Online Application Dates

• Opening date: 6 January 2026

• Closing date: 16 January 2026

Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications within this period, as late applications may not be considered.

Campuses Offering NATED Engineering

The NATED Engineering programmes are available at the following campuses:

• Vereeniging Campus

• Sebokeng Campus

Minimum Requirements for NCV Engineering

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• Minimum Pass Grade 9 with 50% in Mathematics and English

• Pass PLP with Mathematics 60% and Science 40%

• Pass AET Level 4 (120 credits)

Meeting the minimum requirements does not automatically guarantee placement, as selection depends on space availability.

Occupational Engineering Programmes Offered

The advertised Occupational Engineering programmes include:

• Electrician

• Fitter and Turner

• Automotive Motor Mechanic

Funding Requirement

To secure placement and registration, applicants must have applied for NSFAS funding for 2026. Proof of application may be required during the registration process.
