To ensure a smooth and well-managed residence check-in process at Sol Plaatje University, all first-year students who have received a firm residence offer are required to arrive on campus only on the dates and times listed below.

• Saturday, 24 January 2026

• 08:30 – 16:30

Unable to Arrive on These Dates?

If you are unable to arrive on 23 or 24 January 2026, you must inform the Sol Plaatje University Residence Office ahead of time via email:

Before arriving on campus, please ensure that you have:

• Formally accepted your offer to study at Sol Plaatje University, and

• Received a firm residence offer.

Students who do not comply with the scheduled arrival dates and requirements may experience delays during residence check-in.
