NYDA Voucher Programme — Government Support for Young Entrepreneurs (South Africa)

The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) offers a Voucher Programme designed to support young entrepreneurs by funding accredited service providers to deliver business services.

Important: This is not cash paid into your bank account. Instead, NYDA pays approved service providers directly to complete business development work for you.

What the Voucher Covers
Approved services include:

• Business Feasibility Studies (Level 1, 2, 3)
• Due Diligence Reports
• Business Plan Development
• Business Operating Manuals (including HR policies)
• Business Re-engineering
• Website Development and Hosting
• Marketing Strategy and Planning
• Bookkeeping and Financial Administration

Value of Support

• R6,600 up to R19,800 per voucher
• No repayment required
• No contribution fee

Who Can Apply

• South African youth aged 18 to 34 years and 9 months
• 100% youth-owned business (or idea stage)
• Both registered and unregistered businesses can apply
• Up to 4 applications in a lifetime
• Maximum 2 vouchers per business depending on development stage

Required Documents

• Certified ID copies of all directors
• Company registration documents (if registered)
• EDP certificate or qualification in Business Management, Finance, or Entrepreneurship
• Business profile or draft business plan
• Previous funding impact report (if previously funded by NYDA)

How to Apply

1. Visit www.nyda.gov.za or your nearest NYDA office (Mbombela branch available for Mpumalanga applicants)
2. Register on the NYDA ERP portal
3. Select “Voucher Programme”
4. Choose the service you need
5. Upload required documents
6. Wait for assessment and approval
