Diploma in Nature Conservation develops knowledge and practical capability in agricultural and environmental systems, natural resources and applied field practice. Your admission to Unisa is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification. A National Senior Certificate (NSC) (Diploma endorsement) with at least 50% in the language of teaching and learning and with
at least 50% in Mathematics. In addition, at least 40% in one of the following: Physical Science or Life Sciences or Agricultural Science, or a Senior Certificate (SC) with at least a D symbol on HG or a C symbol on SG in the language of
teaching and learning, and a D symbol on HG or a C symbol on SG in Mathematics. In addition, an E symbol on HG or a D symbol on SG in one of the following: Physical Science or Biology or Agricultural Science, or a Higher Certificate (HC) in
Life and Environmental Sciences, or

Possible study paths

Graduates may progress to doctoral study in a related field, subject to research alignment and the receiving institution's admission requirements. Advanced or postgraduate study in agriculture, environmental management, conservation, biological sciences or a related specialisation, subject to admission requirements.
