Bachelor of Commerce in Law develops knowledge and practical capability in legal principles, reasoning, research and the South African legal system. Your admission to Unisa is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification. A National Senior Certificate (NSC) (Degree endorsement) with at least 50% in the language of teaching and learning and at
least 50% in Mathematics, or a Senior Certificate (SC) with matriculation exemption or qualify for the exemption from the Matriculation Board with at least a D symbol on HG or a C symbol on SG in the language of teaching and learning and with
at least a D symbol on HG or a C symbol on SG in Mathematics, or any relevant Higher Certificate obtained in the College of Economic and Management Sciences, College of Accounting Sciences or College of Science Engineering and Technology, or

Possible study paths

Graduates may apply for relevant honours or postgraduate diploma study where their qualification, modules and academic results meet the receiving programme's rules. An LLB where applicable, a postgraduate diploma, honours-equivalent legal specialisation, master's degree or professional legal training, subject to entry requirements.
