Bachelor of Arts in Visual Multimedia Arts develops knowledge and practical capability in software, information systems and computational problem-solving. Other admission conditions
Your admission to Unisa is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification. A National Senior Certificate (NSC) (Degree endorsement) with at least 50% in the language of teaching and learning, or A
Senior Certificate (SC) with matriculation exemption or qualify for the exemption from the Matriculation Board with at least a D symbol on HG or a C symbol on SG in the language of teaching and learning. A permission letter from the Department
of Art and Music is required. Students are required to submit a portfolio of 4 drawings and 4 paintings and only qualifying students will be granted a permission letter. Applicants who do not comply with the above requirements, should consider
applying for a lower level qualification for which they meet the statutory and additional requirements
Possible study paths
Graduates may apply for relevant honours or postgraduate diploma study where their qualification, modules and academic results meet the receiving programme's rules. An advanced diploma or honours/postgraduate study in computing, information systems, data science, cybersecurity or a related field, subject to admission requirements.
