Mathematics, or at least 70% for Mathematical Literacy, or a Senior Certificate (SC) with at least an F symbol on HG or E symbol on SG in the language of teaching and learning and at least an F symbol on HG or E symbol on SG in Mathematics, or
a National Certificate (Vocational) with at least 40% in the language of teaching and learning and at least 30% in Mathematics in terms of the NSC

Possible study paths

After completing this higher certificate, graduates may apply for a cognate diploma or bachelor's degree where articulation and admission rules allow. An advanced diploma, postgraduate diploma or honours degree in business, management, commerce or a related specialisation, subject to admission requirements.
