About this course

This Bachelor of Administration develops knowledge of public administration and the management of public and community organisations. It combines administrative practice with perspectives from industrial psychology, sociology, business management and political studies.

What you may study

Public administration; industrial psychology; sociology; business management; political studies; organisational analysis; public-sector management; and applied administrative problem-solving. The prospectus allows students to select a supporting specialisation.

Minimum statutory NSC requirements for degree entry must be met. Nelson Mandela University's published Applicant Score thresholds are 350 for Mathematics, 365 for Technical Mathematics and 365 for Mathematical Literacy; this Applicant Score is not the same as a conventional APS.

Possible study paths

Graduates may apply for relevant honours or postgraduate diploma study in public administration, management, governance or a related field, subject to the receiving programme's admission requirements.
