The South African National Parks (SANParks), in partnership with the Department of Tourism, invites unemployed youth to apply for the Tourism Monitors Programme — a 7-month contract offering hands-on experience and skills development across various national parks.
Who Can Apply:

Unemployed South African citizens with a valid SA ID

Aged 18–35
-
Must have a Matric certificate (or equivalent)
-
Studied tourism or environmental fields? That’s a bonus
-
Able to communicate fluently in English (spoken & written)
-
Must live within 40–100 km of the selected park/site
-
Have own transport (accommodation may be provided if far from the site)

Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Programme Details:

Contract Duration: 7 Months

Stipend: R200 per day
