West Coast College
West Coast TVET College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution serving the West Coast region of the Western Cape, South Africa. The college provides vocational, occupational and occupationally-directed programmes aimed at skills development and economic participation across a range of sectors including business, engineering, hospitality and agriculture.
History
West Coast TVET College was established to consolidate and deliver post-school vocational education across the West Coast region of the Western Cape. Over time the college developed multiple campuses to bring training closer to local communities and to align courses with regional labour market needs. The college has expanded its programme offerings to include NATED programmes, report 191 (NATED) certificates, vocational diplomas, short skills programmes and accredited artisan training, while building relationships with local industry and community stakeholders.
To provide accessible, relevant and innovative vocational and occupational education and training that develops competent graduates who contribute to local and regional socio-economic development.
