Waterberg TVET
Waterberg TVET College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution serving the Waterberg district of Limpopo province, South Africa. The college offers occupationally directed programmes and vocational education aimed at preparing learners for work and further education, with programmes including NC(V), NATED/Report 191, short skills programmes and learnerships designed to meet local economic and labour-market needs.
History
Waterberg TVET College was established as part of South Africa's post-apartheid reorganisation of further education and training institutions, consolidating a number of satellite technical and vocational campuses across the Waterberg district to provide coordinated TVET provision. Over time the college expanded its programme offering to include NC(V) vocational qualifications, NATED/Report 191 programmes and workplace-based learning in collaboration with local industry, municipalities and community partners.
To provide accessible, quality, vocational and occupational education and training that equips learners with practical skills, industry-relevant knowledge and entrepreneurial capabilities to contribute to regional socio-economic development.
