History
Thekwini TVET College traces its origins to multiple technical and vocational training centres serving the Durban and surrounding metropolitan area. Over time the college has developed a network of campuses across the eThekwini municipality and diversified its programme offerings to include engineering, business, hospitality, information technology and community services.
To deliver quality, relevant and demand‑led vocational education and training that equips learners with skills, knowledge and practical experience to enter the workforce, become entrepreneurs and contribute to socio‑economic development in the eThekwini region and beyond.
To be a leading TVET college in KwaZulu‑Natal, recognised for excellence in vocational training, strong industry partnerships, and measurable impact on skills development and employment outcomes.
