South West Gauteng College
South West Gauteng TVET College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training institution located in the Gauteng province of South Africa. The college provides occupationally oriented further education and training programmes, including NCV (National Certificate Vocational), NATED/Report 191 courses, artisan development and short skills programmes, across multiple campuses to meet local and regional workforce needs.
History
The college developed from the post-1994 reorganisation of further education and training in South Africa, consolidating several former technical and community training centres into a multi-campus TVET institution serving the south-western Gauteng region. Over time the college expanded its programme mix to include NCV, NATED, artisan and community skills development initiatives that respond to local labour market demands.
To provide accessible, relevant and high-quality vocational education and training that equips learners with the practical skills, technical knowledge and critical competencies required for work, entrepreneurship and lifelong learning in the communities we serve.
