History
South Cape TVET College grew from a network of further education and training centres in the Garden Route and Klein Karoo. It operated previously under the name South Cape College and was reconstituted and branded as a TVET college in line with national TVET reforms in the 2010s. Over time the institution consolidated provision across several campuses to expand access to vocational training in engineering, business, hospitality, tourism and community services to learners in George, Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn, Knysna and surrounding towns.
To provide relevant, quality and market-aligned vocational education and training that equips learners with practical skills and knowledge for meaningful employment, entrepreneurship and community development in the Garden Route and Klein Karoo.
To be a leading TVET college in the Western Cape that transforms lives and communities through innovative, inclusive and industry-responsive skills development.
