Northern Cape Rural
Northern Cape Rural TVET College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training institution serving rural communities across the Northern Cape province. The college offers a range of occupational programmes, National Certificate Vocational (NCV) courses, skills programmes and short learning programmes aimed at improving employability, supporting local economic development and responding to labour market needs in rural areas.
History
Established to expand access to post-school vocational education in the Northern Cape's rural districts, the college has grown from a small set of rural training centres into a multi-campus institution focused on practical skills development, artisan training and community-based learning. Over time it has worked with provincial government, local municipalities and industry partners to align training with regional economic priorities.
To provide accessible, quality vocational education and training that equips rural learners with practical skills, fosters entrepreneurship and supports inclusive socio-economic development in the Northern Cape.
