KSD TVET College
King Sabata Dalindyebo TVET College (KSD) is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training institution located in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, serving students across the OR Tambo and surrounding districts. The college offers occupationally focused programmes including NC(V) and Report 191 (NATED) qualifications, skills programmes, short courses, and learnerships aimed at improving employability and supporting local economic development.
History
KSD TVET College was established as part of South Africa's post-apartheid reconfiguration of further education and training to expand access to vocational and occupational skills. Named in honour of King Sabata Dalindyebo, the college consolidated multiple regional campuses to provide coordinated TVET delivery across the Mthatha and surrounding areas. Over time it has developed partnerships with industry, local government and community organisations to align training to regional needs.
