Ikhala College
Ikhala TVET College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training institution based in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The college offers a range of vocational programmes including National Certificate (Vocational) (NCV), Report 191 (NATED) technical qualifications, short skills programmes, and adult education aimed at equipping students with workplace-ready skills and fostering socio-economic development in largely rural and peri-urban communities.
History
Ikhala TVET College was created to provide accessible vocational and skills training to communities in the Eastern Cape. Over time the college expanded its programme offerings and campus footprint to respond to regional skills needs, focusing on employability, entrepreneurship and community development. The institution has a history of partnering with local stakeholders and sector education and training authorities (SETAs) to develop workplace-relevant training.
