Goldfields
Goldfields TVET College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training institution based in the Free State province of South Africa. The college provides occupationally-directed vocational, occupational and artisan education and training, including NC(V) programmes, report 191 (NATED) courses, short skills programmes and community education aimed at equipping students with practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship in the goldfields region and beyond.
History
Goldfields TVET College was established to serve the skills and vocational training needs of communities in the goldfields region of the Free State. The college grew out of earlier further education initiatives in the area and has developed multiple campuses to increase access to vocational education for school leavers, artisans, and adult learners. Over time it has expanded its programme offerings to include engineering, business studies, and community-focused skills training.
To provide accessible, relevant and quality vocational education and training that equips learners with practical skills, fosters employability and entrepreneurship, and supports socio-economic development in the communities we serve.
