History

Gert Sibande TVET College was established through the reorganisation and consolidation of municipal and technical colleges serving the Gert Sibande district to create a single, cohesive public TVET institution. Since its formation the college has expanded its programme offering and campus footprint across multiple towns in Mpumalanga to increase access to vocational education and to support local labour market and industry needs.

All application dates

Applications are accepted for NATED (Report 191) and NC(V) programmes. Prospective students should apply online (where available) or submit application forms at any campus. Typical requirements include a certified ID, academic transcripts or latest results (Grade 12/Matric or equivalent for certain programmes), proof of residence and any programme-specific prerequisites. Closing dates, intake windows and fees vary by programme and academic year. Financial support may be available through NSFAS or other bursaries for eligible students.
