Flavius Mareka TVET College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training institution based in the Free State province of South Africa. History

Flavius Mareka TVET College was established to expand vocational education and training opportunities in the Free State, taking its name from the prominent community leader Flavius Mareka. The college has grown to serve multiple communities in the region by offering responsive skills programmes aimed at socio-economic development and improved employability. Over time the institution consolidated a range of campus-based and community-facing training offerings to align with national TVET priorities and regional labour market needs.

Application dates and information

All application dates

Applications are submitted per academic intake; prospective students should consult the college directly or visit a campus to obtain application forms. Typical requirements: certified copy of South African ID or passport, latest school results or statement of results, and certified copies of qualifications (Grade 11/12 for certain programmes; Grade 9 for NCV levels). Programmes available include NCV levels 2–4, NATED (Report 191) courses and short skills programmes. Selection may include basic numeracy and literacy screening, and candidates are encouraged to apply early ahead of intake closing dates. Bursary and financial support information is available through the college student support office.

Student life
