Buffalo City TVET
Buffalo City TVET College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training institution based in the Buffalo City metropolitan area of the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The college provides vocational education and training programmes including NC(V), NATED (Report 191) courses, artisan and skills programmes aimed at equipping learners with occupationally directed knowledge and practical skills for the labour market and further learning.
History
Buffalo City TVET College developed in the post-apartheid expansion and restructuring of Further Education and Training in South Africa to deliver vocational skills to the Buffalo City metropolitan area. Over time the college has grown to offer a range of National Certificate Vocational (NCV), NATED (Report 191) and short skills programmes, collaborating with local industry and government to support regional skills development and socio-economic mobility.
To provide accessible, quality vocational education and training that develops competent, employable and entrepreneurial learners who contribute to the social and economic development of the Buffalo City region and South Africa.
