Walter Sisulu University (WSU) 2026 Applications Now Open

Walter Sisulu University (WSU) has opened its online application platform for the 2026 academic year. Prospective undergraduate students are invited to apply for studies across WSU’s campuses in Mthatha, Butterworth, Buffalo City (East London), and Komani.

Closing Date: 30 September 2025

Application Fee: R100 (non-refundable)

WSU offers a variety of qualifications through its faculties of Business Sciences, Health Sciences, Education, Science, Engineering and Technology, and Humanities, Social Sciences and Law.

How to Apply

1. Go to the “Apply Online” section

2. Create a student profile

3. Complete the online application form

4. Upload certified copies of:

   • South African ID or passport

   • Final Grade 11 or most recent school results

   • Any additional documents required for your chosen programme

5. Submit your application and retain your reference number

• Apply as early as possible to avoid system delays and secure space in your programme

• Review the admission requirements for your chosen course carefully

• All documents must be certified and clearly scanned

• Use your personal and active email address and cellphone number

• Monitor your application status on the WSU application portal
