University of Zululand (UNIZULU) 2026 Applications Now Open

The University of Zululand (UNIZULU) has opened its online application system for the 2026 academic year. All prospective undergraduate students are invited to apply for admission at the university’s KwaDlangezwa (main) and Richards Bay campuses.

Closing Date: 30 September 2025

Application Fee: R250 (non-refundable)

UNIZULU offers a variety of undergraduate qualifications across its faculties, including Arts, Commerce, Administration & Law, Education, and Science, Agriculture & Engineering.

How to Apply
Visit www.unizulu.ac.za

1. Click on the “Apply” tab

2. You will be redirected to apply via the CAO (Central Applications Office): www.cao.ac.za

3. Register or log in to the CAO portal

4. Complete the online application form

5. Upload certified copies of:

   • ID document or passport

   • Final Grade 11 or most recent school results

   • Any additional required documents

6. Submit your application and keep your CAO number for future tracking

Tips for a Smooth Application

• Apply early — space in popular programmes fills up quickly

• Make sure you meet the specific admission criteria for your chosen programme

• Only upload clearly scanned, certified documents

• Use your own and regularly checked email and cellphone number

• Track your application status on the CAO portal after submission
