Rhodes University 2026 Applications Now Open

Rhodes University has officially opened its online applications for the 2026 academic year. Prospective undergraduate students are invited to apply for admission to study at the university’s main campus in Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown), Eastern Cape.

Opening Date: 1 April 2025
Closing Date: 30 September 2025
(Earlier closing dates may apply for specific programmes such as Fine Art and Drama — applicants are advised to check programme-specific deadlines.)

Application Fee: R100 (for online applications)
Manual Applications: R150 (if applicable)

1. Click on “Apply” and select “Online Applications”

2. Register an online profile

3. Complete the online application form accurately

4. Upload certified copies of:

   • ID document or passport

   • Final Grade 11 or most recent school results

   • Additional required documents depending on your programme

5. Submit your application and retain your reference number
