North-West University (NWU) 2026 Applications Now Open

North-West University (NWU) has officially opened its online application system for the 2026 academic year. Prospective undergraduate students are invited to apply for admission at NWU’s campuses in Mahikeng, Potchefstroom, and Vanderbijlpark.

Application Dates

• Opening Date: 1 April 2025

• Closing Date for Selection Programmes: 30 June 2025

• Closing Date for All Other Programmes and Residence Applications: 31 August 2025

Application Fee
There is no application fee for both South African and international applicants.

1. Visit www.nwu.ac.za

2. Navigate to the “Apply” section

3. Register using a valid email address

4. Complete the online application form

5. Upload certified copies of:

   • South African ID or passport

   • Final Grade 11 or latest school results

   • Proof of residence

   • Any additional required documents

6. Submit your application and keep your reference number for tracking
