Investec CSI Bursary 2026 Applications Now OpenInvestec is committed to more than just providing financial support — it’s about investing in South Africa’s future leaders. The Investec CSI Bursary Programme aims to develop well-rounded, socially conscious graduates who are not only academically qualified but also ready to contribute meaningfully to society.

About the Bursary
Investec offers full-cost bursaries to students who are currently in Grade 12 or their first year of tertiary study, intending to pursue full-time undergraduate degrees in key fields linked to the financial services sector. These include:

  • Actuarial Science (only first-year university students, unless studying Business Science at UCT)

  • Commerce (Economics, Accounting, Finance, Investments, etc.)

  • Engineering

  • Computer Science

  • Information Technology / Information Science

  • Business Science

  • Science and Mathematics

  • Commercial LLB

  • MBCHB (Medicine)

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Investec CSI Bursary, applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens

  • Be in Grade 12 or their first year of university in 2025

  • Meet the academic requirements:

    • Grade 12 students: At least 70% in Mathematics (not Maths Literacy), 65% in English HL or 70% in English FAL, and 60%+ in all other subjects

    • First-year students: Must average above 60% overall, and STEM students must achieve at least 60% per subject in their first semester

Application Requirements
Applications must be completed in full and include all the following certified documents:

  • South African ID

  • Mid-year (first semester) results for 2025

  • Final NSC/Matric results (if already completed Grade 12)

  • Parent/guardian proof of income: payslips, tax returns, or sworn affidavits

  • Proof of unemployment (if applicable)

  • Death certificate (if parent(s) are deceased)

  • Divorce/separation documentation (if applicable)

Important Notes

  • Applications are only considered for study at select South African public universities

  • No bursaries are offered for private institutions

  • Degree changes after application may result in cancellation of the bursary

  • Be sure to apply to your intended university before their deadline
