Historical Debt Bursary by MERSETA – Applications Now Open

The University of Zululand is pleased to announce that MERSETA has opened a call for applications for the Historical Debt Bursary. This opportunity is available to students who still owe outstanding fees to the University.

Funding Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

• Have completed the qualification they are applying for between 2019 and 2023.

• Ensure the qualification is listed in the SAQA Registration ID file.

• Complete the application via one of the following methods:

  2. Alternatively, download and complete the manual form (using the sample as a guide). Please ensure the form is printed and filled in completely.

Required Supporting Documents

• A clear copy of your ID (no need to certify, but the image must be clear).

• A confirmation letter or qualification certificate.

Please ensure that the final page of the form is not left blank. It requires a YES or NO response. Incomplete forms will not be processed.
