Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be currently in Grade 12, or a registered 2nd or 3rd year student at a university

Grade 12 learners must have:

A minimum of level 6 for Mathematics and Physical Science for engineering disciplines

A minimum of level 5 for Mathematics and Physical Science for mining and metallurgical engineering

Current university students must have achieved an average year mark of 60% or above

Submit a comprehensive CV, a Grade 12 certificate, or the latest academic transcript

Proof of residence must be included, especially for applicants residing in local communities near Glencore Coal operations

Applicants receiving funding from another organisation are not eligible

Final selection will consider Employment Equity and Glencore’s future talent requirements

Shortlisted candidates must be available for assessments and interviews
