Central University of Technology (CUT) 2026 Applications Now Open

The Central University of Technology (CUT) has opened its online application system for the 2026 academic year. All prospective undergraduate students are encouraged to apply to study at either the Bloemfontein or Welkom campus.


Application Dates
Opening Date: 1 May 2025
Closing Date: 30 September 2025
(Some programmes, especially in Health and Engineering, may have earlier closing dates — check specific programme requirements.)

Application Fee: Free (No application fee for South African applicants)

CUT offers a wide range of programmes through its faculties of Health and Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology, Humanities, and Management Sciences.

How to Apply
Visit www.cut.ac.za

  1. Click on “Apply Now” under the admissions section

  2. Register an online profile

  3. Complete the online application form

  4. Upload certified copies of:

    • ID document or passport

    • Final Grade 11 or most recent school results

    • Any additional required documents

  5. Submit your application and save your student/reference number for tracking

  • Carefully check minimum admission requirements for your preferred course

  • Ensure all uploaded documents are certified and clearly scanned
