The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) has officially opened its online applications for the 2026 academic year. Prospective undergraduate students are invited to apply to study at one of CPUT’s campuses located in Bellville, Cape Town, Wellington, Mowbray, and other satellite locations across the Western Cape.

Application Dates
Opening Date: 1 May 2025
Closing Date: 30 September 2025
(Some programmes may close earlier — applicants are advised to check the specific closing dates for their chosen programme.)

Application Fee: R100 (non-refundable, for manual applications only — online applications are free)

CPUT offers a wide range of undergraduate qualifications in faculties such as Applied Sciences, Business and Management Sciences, Education, Engineering and the Built Environment, Health and Wellness Sciences, and Informatics and Design.

How to Apply
Visit www.cput.ac.za

1. Click on “Study at CPUT” then select “Applications”

2. Complete the online application form

3. Upload certified copies of:

   • South African ID or passport

   • Final Grade 11 or most recent results

   • Additional required documents such as proof of residence, if applicable

4. Submit your application and keep your student/reference number for tracking

Tips for a Successful Application

• Apply as early as possible, especially for competitive programmes

• Review the admission requirements and required documents for your course

• Ensure all documents are certified and clearly scanned

• Use an active email address and cellphone number that you check regularly

• Monitor your application progress via the CPUT online portal
