Call for Applications: Mpumalanga Tourism Youth Fund 2025

Are you a young entrepreneur based in the Mpumalanga Province and operating a business within the tourism sector? The Mpumalanga Tourism Youth Fund 2025 is now open for applications.

This initiative, in collaboration with the Mpumalanga Department of Economic Development and Tourism (DEDT) and the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), aims to provide financial support to youth-owned businesses contributing to the growth of the provincial tourism economy.

Who Can Apply

• Youth-owned businesses operating in Mpumalanga Province

• The business must have been operational for more than 12 months

• Applicants must meet all required documentation and registration criteria

Funded Business Categories Include:

1. Accommodation Services
   (Guesthouses, lodges, B&Bs, backpackers, safari lodges)

2. Tour Operators and Travel Agencies
   (Adventure tourism, tour guides, shuttle services)

3. Transport Services
   (Airport transfers, chauffeur services)

4. Attractions and Experiences
   (Wildlife parks, amusement centres, cultural heritage)

5. Events and Conferences
   (Event planning, venues, staging, AV services)

6. Hospitality and Food Services
   (Restaurants, catering, coffee shops, food delivery)

7. Travel Services
   (Booking systems, travel consultancies)

8. Wellness Tourism
   (Spas, wellness centres, health retreats)

9. Cultural & Creative Enterprises
   (Craft markets, performance groups, traditional food vendors)

10. Ancillary Services Supporting Tourism
    (Digital marketing for tourism, laundry, cleaning, etc.)

2. Register on the Youth Portal

3. Navigate to Products and Services

4. Register for the Mpumalanga Youth in Tourism Fund

5. Complete the application and upload all required documents

Required Documents

• Certified ID copy

• Certified proof of residence

• CV and copies of qualifications

• Business plan

• 12-month bank statement

• CIPC registration certificate

• Valid tax clearance / compliance status

• Proof of business bank account (stamped by bank)

• Proof of business operation for 12 months or more (invoices, contracts, etc.)
